Kentucky State Roleplay Rules & Guidelines

These rules exist to maintain a realistic, professional, fair, and enjoyable roleplay environment for all members of KSRP.

Applies to Discord, ER:LC, Website Services, Community Events, and all KSRP Platforms.

Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. By remaining in KSRP you agree to follow all community rules, staff directives, department policies, and roleplay standards.

🤝 Community Standards

Respect All Members

  • Treat everyone fairly.
  • No bullying.
  • No harassment.
  • No discrimination.
  • No personal attacks.
Example:
Calling another member names repeatedly after being asked to stop.
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Written Warning
3rd Offense: Suspension
Repeated: Permanent Ban

Community Behavior

  • No drama creation.
  • No trolling.
  • No staff baiting.
  • No intentional disruption.
Example:
Joining events solely to ruin scenarios.
Warning → Suspension → Ban

🎭 Roleplay Rules

FearRP

Your character values their life. Act realistically during dangerous situations.

Incorrect: Ignoring multiple firearms pointed at you.

Correct: Complying or negotiating realistically.
Warning → Suspension

Metagaming

Using information learned outside roleplay inside roleplay.

Reading Discord messages to locate a suspect.
Warning → Suspension → Ban

Powergaming

Forcing actions on another player without allowing reaction.

"/me instantly knocks suspect unconscious"
Warning → Suspension

RDM (Random Death Match)

Killing without valid roleplay reason.

Shooting random civilians for no reason.
Warning → 3 Day Suspension → Ban

VDM (Vehicle Death Match)

Using vehicles as weapons without valid roleplay.

Intentionally running over pedestrians.
Warning → Suspension → Ban

🚔 Department Requirements

Barbourville Police Department (BPD)

  • Minimum Age: 13
  • Must complete department training.
  • Professional conduct required.
  • No abuse of powers.

Kentucky State Police (KSP)

  • Minimum Age: 15
  • Most advanced law enforcement department.
  • Higher activity expectations.
  • Additional training required.

Sheriff's Office

  • Minimum Age: 13
  • County patrol operations.
  • Court and detention operations.

Fire Department

  • Minimum Age: 13
  • Fire suppression.
  • Rescue operations.
  • Hazmat response.

EMS

  • Minimum Age: 13
  • Medical emergencies.
  • Patient care.
  • Scene safety.

Civilian Operations

  • Minimum Age: 13
  • Businesses.
  • Media.
  • Civilian roleplay.

Abuse of Power

Arresting players without probable cause.

Corruption RP

Corruption roleplay requires command approval.

Accepting bribes without approval.
Immediate Removal

Spam

  • No ping spam.
  • No emoji spam.
  • No repeated messages.
Mute → Warning → Suspension

Advertising

Posting invite links for other servers.
Warning → Ban

⛔ Zero Tolerance Offenses

The following violations may result in an immediate permanent ban without warning.

  • Doxxing
  • Child Abuse Roleplay
  • ERP (Sexual Roleplay)
  • Exploiting
  • Hacking
  • Ban Evasion
  • Threats of Real World Harm
  • Staff Impersonation
  • Hate Speech
  • Community Raids
  • Distribution of Explicit Content

📋 Punishment Matrix

Severity Examples Punishment
Level 1 Minor Spam, FailRP Warning
Level 2 RDM, Toxicity Written Warning / Suspension
Level 3 Harassment, Repeated Violations 7-30 Day Suspension
Level 4 Doxxing, Exploiting, Hate Speech Permanent Ban

📨 Appeals Process

If you believe a punishment was issued unfairly, you may submit an appeal.

Appeal Requirements

  • Be honest.
  • Explain what happened.
  • Explain what you learned.
  • Remain respectful.
  • Do not submit multiple appeals.

Ownership and Administration reserve the right to accept or deny any appeal.
